[MOVING] a drive across the country sounds good about now...

For those in the know: They didn't even need a reason. Here's knowledge for those of you that "don't live in Seattle's city limits". No reason is needed to evict someone. Ever. Not one. Says the LAW. Crazy, huh? That's what 'no lease' gets ya. I didn't even need the notice I GOT, how about THAT? Of course, the law also says they have to mail me a notice and they haven't, but I don't think that's gonna do me any good. [For the record, if you live in Seattle's city limits, you get a 'just cause' eviction. Otherwise it's a 'forced move' one. Say if they just wanna rent to someone else, sell their house, don't like you, what have you.]

Of course with the first, last, extra month, security deposit, dog deposit? There's no WAY they can come after me for more money, either. *shrugs* They have May's rent AND June's really.

Yes, I'm packing. Well, not PACKING, but organizing so that packing, when I CAN, is easy. None of this 'five day' shit. Mostly it's getting rid of stuff I DON'T need so that I can sell what I'm not keeping and yeaaaaaaaaah. The front room tables, the chairs in the garage, Kyle's dresser, the BIG bookshelf, all of that has to go. If necessary, I can get rid of his bed, too. That'll be a yard sale this weekend.
